This is one of the rarest canning jars to be found today. Ever see one? It is a Texas Mason Jar, made only from mid 1947 to mid 1948 by the Knox Glass Company in Palestine, Texas. It is marked "15" on the bottom, as well as "Made in Texas by Texans."It is a standard quart size, which is approximately 7 1/8" tall, and it is in a square shape. Zero issues, perfect condition, and comes with a Ball zinc cap. The cap really shows its age and has a strong patina.This jar is one of two I am auctioning. The other one is in a separate auction, and yes, I can combine shipping at no extra cost. My research shows that the last one of these to appear in an auction house sold in 2016.
